Within the "IT Sales and End Customer Applications" department, you will lead the "IT Integration, Development and Operations" team. You will be responsible for the operation and further development of central systems in our application landscape, both on-premise and on our cloud platforms. Together with your team, you will also ensure the integration of specialist applications into our system and data landscape. You will lead a hybrid team of software developers and operations managers and also manage a nearshore service provider who is integrated into the team as an extended resource for operations.

What you do with us:

• You will supervise and prioritize a team of software developers and IT application support staff to effectively bring both sides of the day-to-day IT business together
• You and your team manage, optimize and ensure stable operation of the applications for which you are responsible
• You drive forward the modernization and further development of the supported applications based on the requirements of the specialist departments
• You and your team are responsible for the lifecycle management of the applications and services supported
• You coordinate and manage external partners in the area of platform operation and software development, including a nearshore team
• You act as a link to IT infrastructure and cloud administrators

What convinces us:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
• You have several years of professional experience in the field of web application development or application operation (preferably Java), ideally in a DevOps team
• You already have several years of management experience
• You are characterized by strong communication skills, resilience and a high level of service orientation
