Overview We are currently seeking a Scientist Immunopeptidomics & Proteomics to strengthen our team in the research and development of innovative immunotherapeutic products. You will work in Tuebingen (Germany) in an interdisciplinary environment with colleagues from all research and preclinical/ clinical development departments. Scientist Immunopeptidomics & Proteomics Permanent employee, Full-time Tuebingen (Germany) The job profile is focused on the characterization and validation of novel HLA presented targets, which will involve but is not limited to these tasks: Characterization of HLA presented peptides using Immatics' proprietary absolute quantitation technology (AbsQuant ) to identify and validate the best targets for clinical development Development and validation of new proteomics & peptidomics methodologies for target characterization using a diverse set of protein chemistry and mass spectrometry techniques Coordination and project management of target characterization activities involving stakeholders from different departments and disciplines Contribution to the elucidation of the biological mechanisms of novel cryptic targets using various Omics datasets integrated in Immatics' XPRESIDENT target discovery and validation platform You hold a PhD degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medicine, Pharmacy or have been comparably educated. It is desirable to have a proven track record in proteomics and/or immunopeptidomics and to be skilled in sample preparation techniques for mass spectrometric analysis. You show a high motivation to translate your scientific findings into clinical development and application. Attention to detail, analytical competence, and strong communication skills are essential for contributing to projects as part of a team and presenting work to internal and external partners. Preferably, you also have previous experience in large-scale data analysis and take careful processing and documentation of your results for granted. A high degree of independent working and fluent communication skills in English is expected.
