Administrative Assistant (m/f/d), Franconian International School e. V.

The Franconian International School e.V. (FIS) is a private all-day school in Erlangen with more than 200 staff members. Approximately 800 students are enrolled in the Early Years, Primary School, and Secondary School, graduating with either the International Baccalaureate Diploma or the FIS High School Diploma

Join our team as Administrative Assistant

Starting: As soon as possible (flexible start date)
Employment Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Contract Type: 2 years

Your Responsibilities:

Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
Act as the school's Toddle (Learning Management System) specialist, supporting setup, maintenance, and family onboarding
Support student and school documentation, including transcripts, records, and course coordination, and liaison with the parent teacher organization
Assist with attendance, front office processes, and daily cash management
Organize substitute coverage during staff absences
Maintain and update content on the school website, intranet, and newsletter, and manage photos for school publications and marketing materials

Your Profile:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus)
Comfortable working independently with digital tools and platforms, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
Collaborative team player with a proactive, service-oriented mindset
Prior administrative or communications experience is an advantage
