• As a platform architect, you will be responsible for the overall design and technical planning of the ServiceNow platform.
• You ensure that all solutions within the platform architecture are scalable, secure and consistent and meet enercity's technical and strategic requirements. You ensure interoperability with existing IT systems and their integrability into the platform.
• Furthermore, you take care of the continuous operation and ensure the ongoing optimization of the platform in close coordination with the MSP. You define and monitor methodologies for deployments, implementation, monitoring and upgrade cycles.
• You are also responsible for the business continuity and data management of the platform. Together with the MSP, you will define binding standards and best practices for configuration and customization, integration, security, data quality and user experience in order to make the platform efficient, secure and user-friendly in the long term.
• You identify relevant technologies and innovative functions within the ServiceNow platform and plan corresponding initiatives for transition and integration into the existing architecture.
• Together with the platform owner ServiceNow, you pursue the goal of continuously developing the platform and adapting it flexibly to changing business requirements.
• Advising internal IT teams and specialist departments on technical best practices and ServiceNow solutions and innovations is no obstacle for you.
• To this end, you act as an interface between IT governance, security and enterprise architecture in cooperation with the platform owner and conduct training courses together with them to ensure the secure and effective use of the platform by all parties involved.
• In strategic IT committees, together with the platform owner, you take a leading role in the further development of the platform. You will work closely with other IT departments and company management to ensure that the technical direction of the platform is in line with enercity's goals.

• You have a university degree (master's or diploma) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable subject.
• You also have in-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its instance strategy and central modules (ITSM, CSM, SPM, etc.).
• You also have extensive experience in the design and technical planning of complex ServiceNow architectures, especially with regard to integration strategies, scalability, security and data consistency.
• You are very familiar with the definition and implementation of best practices for configuration, integration, data management, security and user experience within the platform
• Experience in the planning and implementation of transitions of existing architectures as well as in the active further development of the platform in close cooperation with IT departments, product teams and external partners round off your profile.

The ServiceNow platform architect is responsible for the overall architecture, i.e. architecture design and technical planning for the ServiceNow Now platform at enercity.
