To strengthen our pool of experts at the Eschborn location (near Frankfurt am Main), we are looking for a Senior Monitoring Expert (m/f/d) for a permanent position as soon as possible.

As an expert for the cloud environment, you will advise our customers on their monitoring and optimization of cloud-native applications and infrastructures and contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring strategies and align them strategically. You ensure that systems run reliably and efficiently and have an eye for the specific needs of our customers. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact system performance. Your expertise will help maximize system availability and performance and minimize downtime.

• Implementation and management of monitoring tools and solutions for cloud-native environments.
• Analysis and interpretation of monitoring data to identify performance bottlenecks and optimization potential.
• Collaboration with development teams to integrate monitoring solutions into the development process
• Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor system performance and availability
• Carrying out root cause analyses in the event of system failures and performance problems.
• Train and support team members on monitoring tools and best practices.
• Strategic responsibility for the further development of the monitoring strategy

You have a degree in IT with a focus on cloud computing or DevOps, or a degree in (business) informatics or an equivalent qualification.

You also have the following requirements

• In-depth knowledge of cloud-native technologies and architectures (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker, microservices).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Mimir or Loki
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or similar to automate monitoring tasks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and their integration into monitoring solutions.
• Strategic mindset, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience working with development teams and in a DevOps environment.
• You have a high service and consulting orientation and have the ability to advance your topics even in a complex environment by also winning over demanding discussion partners for your topics
• You are used to communicating confidently with different stakeholders and look forward to opportunities to present in front of larger groups and at management level
• Fluency in written and spoken German
