WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our unit Digital Solutions & IT Architecture, we develop concepts and IT solutions for our global coatings and surface business. We drive innovative solutions, ensure seamless end-to-end processes, and identify global best practices for BASF Coatings locations.

Your role as a Technical SAP Consultant for Manufacturing and R&D focuses on developing or selecting the technically optimal implementation of business processes in manufacturing (production & internal plant logistics).
You work closely with the Global Process Owners and the digitalization teams in the global business units or Global Operations.
Your focus is on consulting and supporting SAP projects in the manufacturing area, with a focus on the SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP Recipe Management modules as part of SAP PLM.
This includes designing and implementing SAP solutions, including customizing and integrating into existing system landscapes, as well as supporting the introduction of new business functions.

WHAT YOU OFFER

degree in business informatics or business administration with an IT focus
in-depth knowledge of IT landscapes, especially customizing and coding in the SAP S/4HANA environment
experience with methods and tools for interface description and data architecture
several years of experience with global IT projects is desirable
strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English
analytical skills and enjoyment of teamwork to achieve optimal results with internal and external partners
