BASF Coatings is entering an exciting new chapter as a standalone enterprise within the Carlyle Group. As part of this transformation, we are building a dedicated Coatings Cybersecurity organization to protect our digital assets, ensure compliance, and enable innovation across global operations. We are seeking passionate professionals who want to shape a strong cybersecurity culture-one grounded in awareness, collaboration, and resilience-while thriving in a dynamic, fast-evolving environment.

• In your new role, you play a pivotal role in ensuring BASF Coatings meets evolving cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
• You lead and coordinate the implementation of regulatory requirements like the EU NIS2 Directive, ensuring full compliance across relevant entities and systems.
• Furthermore, you manage global cybersecurity regulatory requirements, including TISAX for the automotive industry and other sector-specific frameworks.
• You act as the central liaison between internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with compliance obligations.
• Lastly, you conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and develop remediation plans in line with EU and global regulatory requirements.

• master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 2-3 years of professional experience
• proven experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors
• strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex regulatory timelines
• teamplayer with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English and a proactive, structured approach to compliance and risk management
• familiarity with EU cybersecurity legislation, including NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX
• relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a strong plus
